Yes, the service is free.  You would have to make a note when placing your order that you will be collecting from our warehouse, otherwise it will be shipped. 

We are proud to be one of the few truly Irish Food Supplement manufacturers in Ireland. We are based in Ballinasloe, Co. Galway.

Unfortunately, we currently do not ship outside of Ireland.

We always strive to ship your order as quickly as possible and usually when you order we will have your order ready for shipping within 2/3 days. Delivery general it takes 1-2 working days via GLS.  Tracking information will be sent to you once the order has shipped.

When your order ships you will receive a tracking link to the email address you provided at checkout.

Note: We only ship to Ireland. Orders within Ireland over €50 are shipped free of charge. Orders under that are charged at a flat rate of €5.95.

If you would like to change or cancel your order, it may be possible if the order has not yet been processed. Please contact us by phone on 0909 643531. If the order has been processed and shipped, cancelling or amending it will not be possible.

Our Joint Complex with UC-II® Collagen & our 100% Collagen Peptides are not Vegan.

All other products in the Macánta Nutrition range are suitable for vegans.

All products made by Macánta Nutrition are free from Gluten.

We do not recommend that children under 18 years of age be given supplements designed for adults due to both dosing reasons and swallowing difficulties. Please contact your doctor before taking any food supplement if you have any medical condition.

UC-II® is a patented form of undenatured type IIcollagen. It helps support joint health by promoting the repair and maintenance of cartilage. The additional ingredients in the complex also help reduce inflammation and improve joint flexibility and mobility.

Unlike Type 1 hydrolysed collagen like our CollagenPeptides product, UC-II® is undenatured, meaning it retains its native
structure. This active structure allows it to interact with the immune system in a way that helps reduce joint inflammation and supports cartilage repair and growth more effectively.

Some users may start noticing improvements in joint comfort and flexibility within a few weeks, while others might take up to 90
days for significant results, every individual is different. Consistent use is key to achieving optimal benefits.

Yes, Joint Complex with UC-II® collagen can be taken with these medications. With existing health conditions, it is always
recommended to consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new supplement. Those on blood thinners should consult with their doctors before use.

Yes, this product can be taken with other joint care supplements such as glucosamine. However, we feel that this complex with UC11®
collagen is more effective with increased joint function, mobility and flexibility. This has been shown in an osteoarthritis study (See Study details) comparing UC11® and glucosamine.

There is no need to take more as studies show no greater benefit is seen with higher amounts of UC11® collagen. This is a very
unique complex in the joint care field which allows for a one a day product.

No, It is recommended to take this product at night to support the absorption of the UC11® collagen.

This formula combines 3 powerful anti-inflammatory ingredients Turmeric root extract, Ginger extract and Boswellia which reduces
inflammation around the joint and provides pain relief.

Lubrication for the joint to reduce stiffness is also provided with the addition of Hyaluronic acid, with bone support from vitamin D
and  K2 .

Manganese contributes to the maintenance of normal bones while copper supports connective tissues.
